"For The Love of Art II"
You are cordially invited to a "meet the artists" reception at the Carrollwood Cultural Center on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 6:00 pm. The show of collective artworks from the members of the Westchase Artists Society will run through the month of February. Refreshments will be served with accompaniment by Jim Burge and the Jazz Directions. Admission is free.

"Tile Unveiling" at the Upper Tampa Bay Regional Library

"Christmas Morning in the Artist’s Studio"
“Christmas Morning in the Artist’s Studio,” the tree decorated with ornaments created by members of the Westchase Artists Society, was on display and available for purchase as part of this year’s “Festival of Trees” held at the Countryside Mall. This was the 25th Anniversary of this popular fundraiser for the Upper Pinellas Association for Retarded Citizens.

Celebrate with members of the Westchase Artists Society during a reception that kicks off the exhibition of their latest group show, Quiet Conversations, running through Friday, Oct. 30 at Upper Tampa Bay’s meeting room during regular library hours.
The Westchase Artists Society is made up of artists interested in adding vibrancy and art to their community. The artists' works include painting, photography, pottery, paper art and more.

Hillsborough County Visual Artists' Alliance Second Exhibition
Members of the organizations that are part of the Hillsborough County Visual Arts Alliance -- Tampa Realistic Artists, North Tampa Art League, Brandon League of Fine Arts and the Westchase Artists Society -- are participating in their second annual exhibition at the Carrollwood Cultural Center. The exhibition will run from September 3 through October 30th. Carrollwood Cultural Center is at 4537 Lowell St. in Tampa. The exhibition will feature 115 paintings and 10 sculptures from 70 artists from across the Tampa Bay Area, making it one of the largest of its kind. Juror Lynn Whitelaw of the Leepa Ratner Museum chose the paintings from the 156 paintings, 10 sculptures submitted for exhibitions. Said Whitelaw, “There are some wonderful works in this show and you should be proud of the talents that are represented by these four art societies."
The reception for the exhibit will be Friday, September 11th, from 6 to 9. The public is welcome to this free event and refreshments will be served. Awards will be announced at the reception.
The goal of the Hillsborough County Visual Arts Alliance is to share best practices among the organizations, better communicate opportunities and to encourage and promote visual arts to the public.

Westchase Artists Society The Great Art Escape Show
From May 6 to July 2, 2009
During the months of May and June, the Westchase Artists Society presents “The Great Art Escape” at the Oldsmar City Hall Art Gallery.
You are invited to meet the area artists and celebrate with them at their opening reception which will include music, refreshments, demostrations, and giveaways.
Meet the Artists Reception on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. This event will provide an opportunity to meet the artists whose works include painting, pottery, photography, and more. Location: Oldsmar City Art Gallery 100 State Street, Oldsmar, FL 34677. The Westchase Artists Society Fall 2008 Members Show was featured at Great Art & Frame Gallery in West Park Village during the month of October. Friends, family, and art lovers shared in the opening reception held the evening of Friday, October 3, 2008 where participating artists were available to discuss their work.

"Art at the Speed of Life."
During June and July, Jacey Gallery is proud to be hosting “Art at the Speed of Life” — an exhibit featuring the artwork of members of the Westchase Artists Society. The group is made up of artists from the Upper Tampa Bay area whose artistic passion leads them to create art even while working, running businesses, caring for families, and volunteering in the community. You are invited to come visit the exhibit and share in their passion.
The show’s opening reception will be held on Friday, June 6 from 7:00 until 10:00 PM and will provide an opportunity to meet the artists whose works include painting, pottery, and photography. If you miss out on the fun and excitement of opening night, “Art at the Speed of Life” will continue to be on display through July 28 during normal gallery hours.

On March 24th 2007, The Auto Legend and The Westchase Artists presented "CARS & ART" Art show . It combined the artistry of the exotic automobile with a vibrant exhibit of fine art by various Westchase area artists. Usual event that attracted a people interested in Art as well as the beutiful exotic cars such as Ferraris and Alfa Romeos.
